A little twitter spat occurred earlier today about the timeliness of the JED processing.
One of our team posted their (very mutual among our team) feeling of being frustrated with the current wait time of the JED approval queue.
Which resulted in an inevitable response from Joomla's number 1 cheerleader which descended into a slightly unprofessional tit for tat.
Before I get any further I want to make two points clear:
1. Sorry for the slip in professionalism to our members who expect better from us. The person making those posts has apologized profusely to me, and I shall to you on their behalf, but to be honest I back his feelings though not necessarily the course of action.
2. We have a lot of respect and appreciation for the JED team and the work they do regardless of our frustration. I am well aware that it is difficult to volunteer all the time indefinitely and the failures of Apple in regards to the iPhone queue show us that even throwing lots and lots of money at a problem won't necessarily fix it.
However, this situation has prompted me to speak on some things that I feel are important.
