Ninja 3D Carousel released
Follow up:
What does this module do? It let you rotate your images in 3D space. There is a Moolet that does this already, you say?
Very true. I was supposed to just do a simple job for a client. The job was to make the Moolet 3D Image Carousel native Joomla 1.5.
But as I am, like the rest of the Ninja's, a perfectionist. I couldn't settle with just that.
Instead of using the code found in the Moolet, I went to the same site Moolet got their code for the carousel.
The result was a module that is more a new product than a simple mod.
Here's a comparison table.
| Features | Moolets Version | Ninja Version |
| Images | 6 | 20 |
| User defined image size | No | Yes |
| Javascript loaded in | Body | Header |
| Custom links for images | No | Yes |
| Javascript Tooltip | No | Yes |
| Joomla support | Native 1.0 | Native 1.0 and 1.5 |
| Loading JS FX | Two optional | None |
| Engine | Mootools | Mootools (jQuery in the next version) |
Hm, why no FX? We are creating a new extension for that. I know, I'm teasing you. I'll give you the name, but that's all for now ![]()
A module called Ninja An***tor
If you can guess the name, I'll tell you more...
Oh, almost forgot. Here are the links to demo's, download and such.
Demo, be careful. The demo have 20 images rotating. If anyone have problems, I can lower the amount so the rotation goes smoother.
By the way, if you like to get news like this first hand, keep an eye on our twits.
