Yes, it is true! The Joomla Extensions Search widget we did a while back, have been more popular amongst the Mac users than we ever expected.

As for this date it is on the 12. place on the Top 50 widgets listing on apple.com!
To put things in perspective, there are as for today, 3690 Dashboard Widgets in Apples listings!

JED Search Widget for Mac released

Well, one of the nice things about macs, are the widgets. And this widget is a little treat for all the mac users out there that also happens to have a Joomla site.
The JED Search widget does exactly what it sounds like.

It saves you the hazzle from powering up your favorite browser, navigate to the Joomla Extensions Directory and hit the search button. With this widget all you need to do is hit the Dashboard shortcut, click the search field and hit enter.
Then it does the rest for you.
